four travelogues in Tamil. Her awards include the Uttar Pradesh Sahitya
Sansthan award and the Punjab Sahitya Akademi award.
Karthik and Vaasanthi talk about her new book, Ganga's Choice, set in various
parts of India and elsewhere. The tales depict the situations ranging from the
problems faced by the migrant laborers during the lockdown to how women
confront the social restrictions that constrain their freedom. They also talk
about many real-life experiences and her literary journey in this episode of
